LDB members subscribe and fully support the efforts of the Kimberly Process (KP) and adhere to the spirit of the fair trade, ethics and transparency in diamond trading. The KP was established in 2003 and aims at preventing “Blood Diamonds” from entering the market and reassures consumers they are not financing war and human abuses. The LDB fully support it and actively monitor this process.

Only the most reputable and well respected companies are accepted as members of the LDB, where members are bound by a strict code of ethics, transparency and business practice. To this day, when the members’ shake hands on a stone transaction... it is a binding contract!
MBC Diamonds is also affiliated to the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) which was founded in 1947 to unite and to provide Bourses trading in diamonds with a common set of trading practice.
